Beneath the surface.

"More than meets the eye" is a saying that commonly fits most of us. What you see isn't always what you get; what you get isn't always what you'd expect. What you see is a mask, put up to block certain people out- the people who don't really know you, or the ones who you could care less if they even said a word to you at all. If you don't really like them, why would you show them your true self, anyway? The ones that get underneath the mask are friends, the ones that I can trust. They know me as Breanna, of course, who wouldn't? If you know anything about me, it's at least my name, or that I'm the girl with the hair. I've been told often that I look older than I am. Usually people guess 17 or 18. I suppose that's not a bad thing. I wish I were older, but in two years I know I'll probably miss being a kid- not that I don't already miss the 90s. Nostalgia sucks.

Honestly, I'm a lot more open in blogs or talking to people on the Internet than in person. You could probably find out a lot more about me by reading them. However, in a blog like this for school, I probably won't express myself as much as I would on Tumblr, where not too many people know me in real life, and hardly any of them judge. I'm very argumentative and stubborn. I prefer to write about things I have strong opinions on, or I like to rant. If you ever get into a debate about me with something, I often have a lot of things to back it up, although that depends on the subject. And chances are, you won't be able to change my mind and I probably will never agree with what you have to say. That's probably a bad flaw, however we all have them. And we wouldn't be who we are without them.

Writing is something I quite enjoy, mostly poetry however. Of course, you could probably tell that just by reading the first paragraph, and the fact that this is getting long. I absolutely love Pandas and Chinchillas. Don't ask me why, I just do. I also know how to spell Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, however I don't exactly have the pronunciation down. In case you're wondering, it's a lunge disease caused by the inhalation of silicone particles. I know pointless facts that I probably won't ever use, and I probably should have been born in Italy during the Victorian era.

I took this class because Psychology is something I enjoy. I actually considered being a Psychologist for a while before I decided on Cosmetology. However in the future I may decide to get a Psych degree, depending on how this class makes me feel. I already know a bit about certain random phobias and mental disorders, as they're something I enjoy reading and learning about. I would like to learn more about them, considering I'm kind of a Hypochondriac and probably don't have half the things I think I do. I'd like to learn more about behaviours and the way people act. I think it's fun trying to figure people out, and I hope that I can get what I want out of this class.
